Katarzyna Zawistowska
interior designer, scenographer , professorial assistant at the Studio of Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk | Poland. Graduated in 2003

She was invited by Hooyong Performing Arts Centre to participate in a program 'Artist in Residency' in The Nottle Theatre Company in Wonju, South Korea. It is a program designed to provide supportive environment for the artists to concentrate on their creative works.

Two times she took a part in The Conference 'The New Space of Authenticity' organised by The International Federation for Theatre Research. In 2007 in Prague, in this year at The Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea 14-19 July 2008.

Her project 'inter|theatre' for the OISTAT Theatre Architecture Competition was among the 44 entries which were exhibited during Prague Quadriennal 2007.

In 2006 her scenography of Shakespearean 'The Tempest'
won 3rd prize in the Theatrical Institute's Scenography Competition.
